Invitation to the Presentation of the EU Project in Ljubljana. Get Involved with FORESDA by Encouraging Innovation and Competitiveness!

Earlier this year started the activities within the international project FORESDA, which aims to transform the traditional forest-based areas into innovative, modern areas and to improve or reconfigure the existing value chains. The project will be implemented in the Danube area, that is 9 partner countries – Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Germany, Hungary, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia and Croatia, where the activities will be implemented by the project partner Croatian Wood Cluster and Virovitica-Podravina County as an associated partner. The project is co-funded by the European Union Funds, within the Danube Transnational Programme and will last until 2019. The activities, objectives and outputs of the FORESDA project will be presented at the KICK-OFF MEETING in Ljubljana in ​​the Slovenian Forest Institute 07/03/2017. Project partners from 9 countries, important stakeholders of the wood industry sector, and representatives of the local, national authorities will be present at this event. The agenda will also include other information about the upcoming EU projects and possible involvement, therefore all interested parties are invited to join and participate!
