Workshops for clusters networking

Cluster representatives actively participate in the professional meetings of various institutional, private and NGO organizers, where they give presentations on the activities of the Cluster or participate in panel discussions.

Symposium on Textile Science and the Economy in 2015

The event was held at the Faculty of Textile Technology in Zagreb, and was entitled Functional Materials, Clothing, Footwear and Equipment. The Cluster was actively involved in the discussion at the round table on the theme about Croatian Competitiveness Clusters – A Key To Exit The Crisis?

The purpose of the discussion was to exchange professional views and contribute to the improvement of the economic situation and cooperation in industry, and possibly linking partners to share their knowledge and experience and to develop and put forward new projects.

Workshop in Vukovar by the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Crafts

In March 2015, in Vukovar the “Third Workshop for Clusters Networking and Development in the Danube region” was held; it was organized by the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Crafts and their partners from the German province of Baden Württemberg.

The topics of the workshop were primarily the development activities of the Danube network clusters, with emphasis on the financing options for clusters in the programme period 2014-2020.

The event was attended by representatives of the EU administration in Brussels and representatives of 14 countries involved in the EU Strategy for the Danube Region (EUDSR), as well as from the countries of the Central Europe Initiative (CEI). The Croatian Wood Cluster made a series of bilateral contacts.
