AGRICULTURAL WASTE: The topic of commercialization and production of agropellet

There is great potential of plant residues from agricultural production in the Mediterranean, which have recently been widely used in the energy sector. With a more active approach to the EU and stimulating transition to renewable energy sources, biomass from agricultural sources gets its wider application and economic importance. The 8^th International Energy Conference on Biomass continues to address this issue, even though the conference has been the platform for discussion over the past several years. This year’s program will include concrete examples of agro-production in Croatia and the countries of the region. Discussion on commercial value and market positioning of biomass and pellets from agricultural residues is expected.
